This photo from the collection of Historic Pittsburgh shows Vesta Coal Mine #1 Tipple owned by Jones & Laughlin as the center of the photo.  The photo apparently was taken from the Fayette City side of the Monongahela River.  The photo is dated 1907.

This photo of the Vesta Coal Mine #1 Tipple is dated 1910 and taken from the Allenport side of the river, looking towards Fayette City.  This mine closed in 1925.
