September & November 15, 1935

 

September 15, 1935   Mom and I are here after 51 yrs tonight being married.  I have just read a Book through the curtesy of the Author  R.T. Wylie. The Book is not yet published. It is entitled Monongahela River and its region. it is a great work and I am lucky to have read it. it made me hear Pin Mauls  Calking Mallets  Steam Boat whistles and brought a parade before me of old time Ship Carpenters   they were good old times.

November 15, 1935   the old Cyclone Digger has been sold to John Hysmith and he is wrecking the same   I repaired her several times
