Photo of Steamer JAMES MOREN was taken on July 16, 1897 at the Davis Island Dam on the Ohio River near Pittsburgh.  The celebration was for the removal of tolls on the river locks. The Steamer JAMES MOREN docked for repairs on August 3, 1900.  She is next mentioned by JW in his journal on January 26, 1910 when she docks for repairs after sinking.  On November 16, 1912 she has a 50' hole in her bottom.  The last mention is on June 24, 1922 when she makes her last trip down the Monongahela.
