An early entry for the BEACON is for general repairs during March, 1920

The entry for November 1923 refers to the BEACON as " He", there were he boats and she boats, the tone of the whistle was one of the factors used in this determination, deep whistles were he boats, and high pitch whistles were she boats.

The entry For December 1924 shows the BEACON having repair work performed over both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
