machinery from the Steamer FULTON

BEACON is for general repairs
during
March, 1920.
The entry for
November 1923 refers to
the BEACON as " He", there were he boats and she boats, the
tone of the whistle was one of the factors used in this determination,
deep whistles were he boats, and high pitch whistles were she boats.
The entry For
December 1924 shows the
BEACON having repair work performed over both Thanksgiving and
Christmas.
