November 24, 1908 to January 11, 1909


 

Tuesday November 24, 1908  Steamer Cadet Docked for Cylinder timbers - fantails - nosing - stern posts - Boiler deck to the cabins all new  and other repairs.  Part of the men laid off Friday December 11, 1908  some still from September 29, 1908   finished Cadet December 17, 1908  left in tow of Steamer Carbon December 23, 1908, Thursday

Steamers Carbon and Cadet were built off the same templets

Cleaned up shed and loft of useless templets and other rubbish after finishing Steamer Cadet

Thursday December 24, 1908  started puting in new gunnels and other repairs on Pump Boat M. 160  finished December 30, 1908  Wednesday

December 31, 1908 on Model Barge # 79  she had burned,  the cargo box off and damaged throughout,  turning her into Coal Barge,  finished January 8, 1909

Monday January 11, 1909  Steamer Fallie Docked for general repairs

 

Steamer Robert Jenkins in for new rudder January 11, 1909  Monday

On the Steamer Fallie with the following men  -  William Packard - Mitt Packard - Frank Young - Tom Warren - William Morgan - William Congrave - F. Wunderlich - George Balsinger - L. Curry - Jas Reed - Ray McQuawn - Arch McQuawn - Herb Wilcoxen - William Kassler - William Jimmerman - William Lynch JR ( water boy ) - J.W. Lynch  Foreman - G. Bennet - John Park - Park is a newcomer from Parkersburg, West Virginia.   Sam Pancost is on her also with these men - Isiah Hands - C.H. Moffit - Gib Wright - Joe Slaughter - O.B. McDonald - Len Genae - Link Pancost - Amos Meyers - Frank McNamee - Wash Dyer - John Bucy - William Hindman              finished her February 24, 1909   towed to Browns Shop by Steamer Voyager   this job an entire new Hull all through.  William Packard was on her to finish a few small jobs
