March 30, 1911 to April 7, 1911


 

March 30, 1911  Rain wind and plenty of hard snow squals at night  high wind and lots of snow

Thursday March 30, 1911  both Angle Pump boats Launched  also more men laid off

Heavy snow Thursday night

Friday March 31, 1911  hard snow squals all day  snow all Friday night

Saturday April 1, 1911  snow all day and night  Sunday morning April 2, 1911 down to 20 degrees above

Saturday April 1, 1911  building new stern bulkhead on Steamer Clipper - by W. Morgan - W. Packard

Sunday night  April 2  about 2" of snow and down 32 degrees  Monday 3  cold & cloudy  some snow

building cabins on Angle Pump Boats  two more men on them  Wm. Lynch - Max Taylor

Sunday night April 2, 1911  about 10:15 o'clock a thief was in our Pigeon coop  I fired a shot into the ground with a 45-70 Springfield  he certainly did run  fairly flew.

Tuesday April 4, 1911  Rain all day   today some more men were laid off.  Jas. McClure - F. Wunderlich - Max Taylor - M. Cline and my two boys  Will and McKown (Lynch)

have 3 men on Pump boat # 90  - W. Packard - W. Morgan - Steve Howard

Friday night April 7, 1911 - snowing
