Enoch J. Bramlett, 85, 546 E. Polk, died Tuesday, July 6, at his home. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Greer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. 

Mr. Bramlett was born Sep 14, 1907, in Lamar County, a son of William E. and Sarah Ellen Sewell Bramlett. He married Mattie Lou Baer Aug. 6, 1942, in Roxton. He was a retired farmer and worked for Valley Feed Mill for a number of years. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and served in the Army [Pvt.] during World War II. 

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Rebecca Black of Toccoa, GA, Jo Cope of Paris, and Ann Foster of Paris; two sons-in-law, John R. Black of Toccoa, GA, and Steve Cope of Paris; one sister, Alma Baer of Roswell, NM; six grandchildren, Sean Black of Toccoa, GA, Shelley Black Long of Athens, GA, Dr. Kim Anderson of Houston, Bret Cope of San Antonio and Kenda Foster of Irving and Kyle Foster of Paris. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Kenith Foster.
