Ancestors of William Stanley Tucker 1890-1944

The Tuckers are a bit of a mystery in that the first sighting of them is in Saint Helier, Jersey in the 1841 census.  I don’t know if they were native to the Channel islands or moved there.  Channel Island censuses aren’t very helpful in that they say whether or not the person was born on the island but beyond that, they only state “England” or whatever, so we start with

William Tucker (Abt. 1818—27 Jan 1865)

Died in Saint Helier of a chronic infection of the liver, born in England.  Married Elizabeth Jane Couch (1819-1889).  Their children were

Born in Saint Helier (3 Payn Street).  Married Mercy Fenwick Isbell (1860-1921), Dec Q 1889 in Plymouth.  Their Children were
