The brother was never heard
of again. This was before the area
near
Grayville, IL was serviced
by train.
James' birth year determined
by his age in several censuses.
Handwritten on the back of
Daniel Jordan's death certificate is that
his father James and mother
Dorcas were born in Indiana. I do
not
know who wrote this note.
Marj Woods told me that she
personally saw James' tombstone at this
cemetery. James W Jordan tells us that his mother Emma
Walter Jordan
claimed that he was buried
"up there on that mountain."
