Families
Welcome to our genealogy
page.
We're so glad
you stopped by! Please sign the guest book before you leave, and visit often.

Most of our family
lines ended up in Northwestern Missouri (Ray, Clay, Platte, Buchanan, and Jackson Cos.)
and Northeastern Kansas (Jefferson, Douglas, and Shawnee Cos.). Many have been traced back
to Virginia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and a few to Europe. We are making progress, but
there are still some "gaps." In an effort to conserve space, I have omitted
on-site source references, but I will be glad to check my database for more information if
you have questions. And, of course, I always welcome additions and corrections! There are a few lines of descent that I have
included, even though we have not been able to connect them to our own line, in the hopes
that someone who sees them will be able to help us make the connection (or disprove it
completely!). A lot of my information
is from secondary sources, so be forewarned. . .you can use this information for
"clues," but there may be errors I have not yet tracked down. IMPORTANT: It is
not my intention to provide data on any living person. If you
find information (other than a name) for someone in this database who is still alive,
please let me know and I will see that they are removed immediately. For some people, I
have had to "guess" as I have no death date for them.
