BATHING BEACH
AT LAKE CLIFF

_______

Manager Mangold Announces Opening
of Popular Resort
Today.

Charles A. Mangold, director and owner of the bathing beach at Lake Cliff Park, announces that the opening will take place today. Mr. Mangold has spared no expense to make this resort a popular retreat during the summer months. Many improvements have been made in the beach and the bath houses. The big well is now spouting forth, pure, limpid water and new bathing suits have already been received.
Mr. Mangold announces that two expert swimmers have been engaged to patrol the beach and guard the bathers. These men are from the United States Life Saving station at Galveston. Their names are: R. M. Metch and Gasparo Amato.
These two men will give a special exhibition of high diving and fancy swimming Sunday afternoon.
