James Head Family Cemetery, La Grange, Oldham Co. KY
This is the family of James Head. He was the son of Hadley Head. This cemetery was on the family farm, and is now on the back part of Eagle Creek Golf Club of Oldham Co. The cemetery has a fence around it, put in by the golf course. A stone has been erected listing the names of the individual's "known" to be buried here. I recently made a trip to Oldham Co and believe others could be possibly buried there also but time didn't allow for me to "dig" any deeper. I would like to thank Nathaniel Elliott who tracked down the location of this cemetery for me. Lots of work went into finding the location of this cemetery. I cant thank Nathaniel enough. I am in hopes of being able to go back again and do some 'digging' for others who may be buried here also. Some other stone pieces were found, so maybe more to come for this page !
