Thomas Arnold, probable son of William & Katherine Arnold of Suffolk, England has been placed in the wrong family in many of the Arnold and Comstock genealogies in print. He was mistaken by early researchers for a man of the same name who never left England. Thomas of Providence, was the husband of Phebe Parkhurst and they are eighth great grandparents.
