Fifth Generation

154. Sarah "Sally" WALLER1 was born circa 1767 in Virginia. She died before October 1803 at the age of 36.

I previously had the Sally who married Major Price as a daughter of Spiers Walters & Lydia Stamps. I am not sure of the source and this cannot be possible. Sally was married and died by 1803. Spiers Walters & Lydia Stamps did not even marry until 1813.

Major Price married for the second time on 13 Oct 1803 to Susan Lawson.

Sarah "Sally" WALLER and Major PRICE were married on 19 May 1801 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.82,114 Major PRICE1,31,108,114, son of William PRICE and Susannah BURTON, was born in October 1779.115 He died on 3 March 1829 at the age of 49 in Caswell County, North Carolina.114

The Price book states that Major Price married Sarah Wallers. Marriage was recorded in Pittsylvania Co VA; she was the daughter of John Waller who gave permission. Joel Waller was the bondsman. This must have been a brief first marriage. John Waller's will does state his daughter Sarah had married Major Price and was deceased.

Major apparently married (perhaps 2nd) on 13 Oct 1803 to Susan Lawson who died 11 Feb 1822. Major Price died on 3 Mar 1829. Children of Major Price and Susan Lawson were Nancy Fuqua Price, Sophia D. Price, Thomas L. Price and Martha Allen Price.
