Buried on his plantation in Pittsylvania Co VA. The Stamps database gives a birth year as 1767. From grave marker: born 6 Jan 1761; died 24 Jun 1844, age 83 years. If this reading is corrent and he was born in 1761, then certainly his father had an earlier marriage. Given the age of the marker, either 1761 or 1767 is possible.
