14. Fortunatus DODSON died on 9 September 1737 in Richmond County, Virginia.

Alice was granted administration of his estate on 1 May 1738. She married John Fowler after his death. Fortunatus' brother William was guardian of the children until his death.

Fortunatus DODSON and Alice GOAD were married on 9 September 1726 in Richmond County, Virginia. Alice GOAD, daughter of Abraham GOAD and Catherine WILLIAMS, died about September 1767 in Richmond County, Virginia.

Alice married John Fowler after the death of Fortunatus. Her will was probated in Richmond Co 7 Sep 1767. The children have been determined from the North Farnum records and her will.

Lucy DODSON was born on 12 September 1728 in North Farnham Parish, Old Rappahannock County, Virginia. She died on 9 April 1730 at the age of 1 in North Farnham Parish, Old Rappahannock County, Virginia.

James DODSON was born on 18 December 1730 in North Farnham Parish, Old Rappahannock County, Virginia.

Nothing further is known about James.

Ann DODSON25 was born on 10 November 1732 in North Farnham Parish, Old Rappahannock County, Virginia.

Ann maried (1) Moses Cornelius and (2) George Phillips. She apparently married Phillips after 1760 when his 1st wife Hannah was still living. George was the son of Hannah Goad Phillips Dodson, Ann's aunt - a cousin. Ann probably went to Pittsylvania Co VA with her aunt's family. She may have had Cornelius children.

Alice DODSON was born on 15 March 1734 in North Farnham Parish, Old Rappahannock County, Virginia.

Alice married Thomas Dale. Her son Rawleigh Dale, went to Pittsylvania & Henry counties with her power of attorney to effect a division of the estate of William Dodson of which she is one of the heirs.

Hannah DODSON was born on 7 October 1737 in North Farnham Parish, Old Rappahannock County, Virginia.

Hannah might have been the first wife of George Phillips.
