Descendants of Roger Murphy

I have found three successive generations of Roger Murphys. Presumably they are grandfather, father, and son. Some of the records are impossible to distinguish between the Rogers, particularly since I have no definite record of the deaths of either of the two earlier Rogers. Many online databases have only two Roger Murphys but there is no doubt there were at least three. They lived in Guilford County, North Carolina, then Laurens and Pendleton Districts in South Carolina.

The youngest of the Rogers had a daughter Bridget who married William Brown and left home in South Carolina for the wilds of Kentucky about 1815 along with William's extended family. Bridget's father and his other children moved soon after to Georgia. Bridget died in Kentucky, leaving at least three very young children. I'm not sure that Bridget's parents and siblings ever even knew of her death. Bridget Murphy Brown was one of my great-great-great grandmothers and this is what I have found about her family.
