Descendants of John Pledge

The Pledge ancestry is one both my husband and I share. John Pledge, Jr. and his wife Dorothy are ancestors common to both me and my husband. My line of descent is their son William; my husband descends from their daughter Mary who married John Johnson.
We were, therefore, 8th cousins, once removed.
