Thank You so much Robert - You've touched my heart n' now I just have to find a way to go to Scotland !!!!!!!

Note from Robert: The house is now called “Firwood” -  Anna MacDonald tending the garden for her daughter who now lives there. Anna MacDonald (née Stewart) is somehow related to Christine English, wife of Donald MacLean of Uppertown.  The link was through Professor Dr Peter R English, formerly of Aberdeen University, author of “Glen Urquhart. Its Places People, Neighbours and its Shinty in the last 100 Years and
More” and “Arnisdale and Loch Hourn”.

On Another Note: - My great-grandmother was Catherine MacDonald (daughter of Donald and Mary [Ralph] MacDonald) - and my great-great grandmother was Janet MacDonald (daughter of Donald and Elspet [McIntosh] MacDonald -  so wouldn't be surprized to see that there is a connection to present owners <grin> ... and definately again looking forward to visiting in summer of 2007 !

Sl'ainte !!!!!
