![]() Jacob died in 1918 as the first World War was ending. The country and the world had been exhausted by war and disease. Jacob died December 12, 1918 at his home in Delta, Ohio. Because of the Winter cold and deep snow, his body was placed temporarily in a mausoleum at Greenlawn Cemetery.
