Following is text from a correspondance with my 2nd cousin Carolynn Bettis who has been researching this line for many years.

Robert Cain & Elizabeth Goodpasture has not been documented, but their alleged son, George Cain who married Deborah Masters has been documented and as I stated earlier, they are buried at White Hall, IL ......

George Cain married Deborah Masters, Juanita has it wrong. About 15 years ago, Betty Lawrence and I had a reunion of the Bartlett/Taffner/Cain lines at Pittsburg, KS, just west of Irwin/LaMarr, MO and several of the Taffners were there. We handed out alot of material and someone has miscopied the info on George & Deborah Masters Cain. The Richisson comes in on Mary Lawson Cain's side, but we have never been able to further anything on her or her Richisson line. We haven't been able to take her father Jessee Lawson back any farther, even tho several of us are working on that line together.
