Do you have any pictures of Sebastain or Elisha?
Also do you know anything about Melvin's brother George? My dad (Harry Woodrow) said Sebastain told them he went to Georgia but no one ever heard from him.
I appreciate your work on the Matthews side of your family tree. I have tried but couldn't get as far back as you did. Dad was the baby of 9 children. He said Sebastain didn't talk much about his family. He remembered seeing a copy of the letter Melvin wrote several years ago. Some of the kin folks in Mine La Motte or Fredericktown had a copy of it.

This marriage produced 3 children (all LIVING)—my husband, Donald Allan Arbuthnot (b: 01 MAY 1949), his sister Barbara Rose (b: 06 OCT 1950) and a son Mark Elmo (b: 06 MAR 1955). This marriage was dissolved o/a 1967. Donald Junior Arbuthnot married third Bernice J. Evans (b: 13 FEB 1924) and she survives. No children resulted from this marriage.
