2. Abraham WARKENTIN was born on Mar 17 1880 in R.M. of Hanover, Manitoba. He died on Dec 19 1949. After the early death of his parents he was raised by foster parents " The Hildebrandts". The 1891 census indicates that he was with the Heinrich Hildebrandt family. Heinrich (born: Jan 18, 1862) was married to Katharina Sawatsky.

Abraham married Sara Friesen daughter of Abraham Friesen (Oct 10, 1839 - June 8, 1909) and Marie (Hiebert) Friesen (Aug 11, 1844 - July 18, 1934). Sara was the granddaughter of Abraham Friesen (Aug 13, 1816 - April 17, 1871) a minister (Mar 10, 1849) of the Bergthal Church.

Abraham was a butcher by trade. The family lived in Rosenfeld, Manitoba until about 1925 when they moved to Morden, Manitoba.

3. Sarah FRIESEN was born on Feb 18 1881. She died on Jun 1 1943 in Morden.

 vii. Maria WARKENTIN was born on Jan 2 1910. She died  Jul 24 1985.
 viii. Eva WARKENTIN was born Oct 17, 1911. She died in Vancouver, BC Sep. 14, 2005.
 ix. Katharina WARKENTIN was born on May 6 1913 and died in 1915.
 x. Erdman (Ed) WARKENTIN  born Nov 5 1914. He died Dec 2 1982.
 xi. Anna WARKENTIN She died at birth on Jul 25 1916.
 xii. Alice WARKENTIN was born on Feb 2 1918. She died Oct 3 1994.
