Thomas Benjamin Goswick was the son of George Washington and Mary (Britton) Goswick of Pope Co.Ar..  His first wife "Lillie (Dial) Goswick" was listed on the 1910 Pope Co.AR. Sulphin Township census as 16 years of age and living in the household of Joseph Ford age 69 b.Tn., Margaret Ford age 65 born Ar., Sarah Ford age 44 (listed as daughter), Lillie Goswick age 16 (granddaughter), and William Dial age 18 (grandson).6/10/2000..From Kim..Lillie Dial Goswick re-married William Anderson Callan, and they had a son William Dwght "Bill" Callan.. When Joseph Benton Goswick was very young he went by the surname of CALLAN..He was married under the name of GOSWICK, and had 3 son's. Lillie (Dial) Goswick was daughter of Andrew "Drew" Dial and Mahala E. "Haley" Ford, and g-dau of Joseph and Margaret Ford of Pope Co.Ar.  Mahala E. Ford married lst May 19, 1889 Pope CoAr. Andrew "Andy" Dial.  Mahala E. Ford married 2nd Sep.19, 1909 Pope Co.Ar. Isac B. Howard.

Thomas Goswick age 20 b.ca. 1890 AR. living in household of George & Cynthia "Hewett".

The 2nd wife of Thomas Benjamin Goswick was Margarette E. Fondren who was the daughter of Milton and Mary Margurite (Nelson) Fondren.

I found the surnames of NELSON and FONDREN quite intersting as some of the GOSSETT'S in Alabama married  into the Nelson and Fondren families.

There has been two different names given for the oldest son of Thomas Benjamin Goswick by his first wife Lillie Dial.   Rebecca (Huff) Rains stated that the oldest child was named :Thomas Benjamin,Jr. and he was called "Joe",  (a half brother) believes his name was Joseph Benton Goswick.{kgk}
