GOD BLESS AMERICA!
"If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

WELCOME!!!
KINFOLK KORNER HAS RELOCATED TO CREEK COUNTY, OKLAHOMA!
September 14, 2005 - - - Yes, it's true! The Strain Family, formerly of Jenks, Oklahoma, has relocated to Sapulpa, in Creek County, Oklahoma!
After having lived in Jenks since 1952, our family decided to come back to my husband's roots here in Sapulpa. And what a treasure trove of history we now have access to!
Our library here has a small, but growing and very interesting genealogy center, where we spend a lot of time. We will be happy to help other researchers with look-ups in the old newspapers, funeral home books, or anything else we might be able to find!
We are always taking pictures . . . LOTS of pictures, so feel free to ask for photos of old sites, gravestones, or anything else in the Sapulpa area you might be interested in! For our part, we will be adding new pages featuring some of the interesting places we have discovered since being here.
Creek County is a large county, and we haven't done a lot of exploring around in other towns YET . . . but those plans are in the making. As we travel around meeting people and finding yet new vistas, we will be sharing those adventures with you as well.
We will continue posting the obituaries and death notices from the Jenks area (which includes Bixby, Glenpool and Liberty Mounds), but our focus will be on Creek County more than ever.
Our family lineage pages are also growing . . . especially my husband's . . . which include STRAIN, MANKINS, BEACH, CARR and extended families. My pages have taken a backseat lately, but hopefully this winter I'll be doing some digging around myself. My family includes MAYO, PARSONS, CANFIELD, VAN HORN and extended families.
So WELCOME TO OUR HOME IN SAPULPA, OKLAHOMA! We're glad you're here! Come on in and have some cookies and lemonade!!!!
