
Virginia Lee Haught died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005 at the Ranch Terrace Nursing Home at the age of 71. Virginia was born Oct. 18, 1934 in Barnsdall to William and Lena Bahn Haught.
She was a member of the First Church of God; lived in Sapulpa most of her life; worked for T.S.U. Railroad, and Red Ball, Inc. for 30 years as a clerical clerk, and retired in 1982 due to failing health.
In 2004 she had moved into the Green Tree Assisted Living in Sand Springs and on September 23, 2005 she moved in to Ranch Terrace Nursing Home in Sapulpa.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Ester Henderson and her husband Melvin; brother Clarence Haught and his wife Ruth; and a nephew Bill Henderson.
Survivors are sister Arline Brown and her husband Thomas, of Enid; sister Ella Haught, of Sand Springs; brother Ernest Haught and his wife Evelyn, of Sapulpa; and many nieces and nephews.
Virginia will be remembered for her sweet friendly smile. While at Green Tree she loved playing bingo and winning stuffed toys to give to her great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Virginia have been set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005 in the First Church of God with the Rev. Ken Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Floral Haven Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the building fund at the First Church of God, P.O. Box 790, Sapulpa, OK, 74067.
