Margaret Ann Raines passed from this life Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005.
She was born Margaret Ann Whitehead in Oilton March 24, 1931 to Earl and Pearl Whitehead. She attended Oilton Public Schools. She married Randell Raines, the love of her life, April 17, 1948 and moved to the Pretty Water Community in 1952. She worked at the Pretty Water School as a bus driver and in the cafeteria for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother Evan Whitehead.
She is survived by four children Randa Hoover, of Kiefer, Linda Scott and husband Dallas, Danny Raines and wife Glenda, all of Sapulpa, and David Raines, of Tulsa; six grandchildren Bruce Hoover, of Arkansas, Brenda Adams and husband John, of Sapulpa, Brian Hoover, of Sapulpa, Berry Hoover, of Kiefer, Randy Raines, of Sapulpa, and Andrew Raines and wife Teresa, of Sapulpa; five great-grandchildren, all of Sapulpa; and one brother David Whitehead and wife Earlene; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a wonderful sister, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. We love you.
Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005 in the Smith Funeral Chepel. Interment will follow in the Brock Cemetery near Silver City.
Serving as casket bearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons Bruce Hoover, Brian Hoover, Berry Hoover, John Adams, Randy Adams and Andy Adams. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
