The 25th wedding anniversary of Avery and Joann Chambers will be celebrated Friday with an open house at their home, northeast of Sapulpa. Receiving hours will be 1 to 6 p.m.
The couple's four children and their families will serve as hosts. They are Pattie Parker and her husband Ronnie, Stacy, Stephen and David Chambers and David's wife, Anita. Five grandsons will also be greeting the guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Chambers were married Nov. 27, 1956, in Tulsa County. They have spent their entire married life here. He is self-employed, in the construction business, and Mrs. Chambers assists in the business. They are active in Ridgeway Baptist Church and are active supporters of the Future Farmers of America program. His other hobby is bass fishing.
All friends and acquaintances are invited to call on Friday.
