Bruce Leroy and Julia "Carlene" (Saner) Worley will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 15, 2006.
The couple was married June 15, 1956 at First United Methodist Church in Sapulpa.
Both graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1955. They moved to Muskogee in 1980, where they still reside.
Bruce was employed with Bartlett-Collins for 20 years in the mold shop. He was later employed with Owens Illinois-Brockway Glass in Muskogee, where he retired in 2003.
Carlene worked for the Creek County Courthouse in Sapulpa as second deputy under Nadine Thoos and Doris Hicks. She spent the rest of her time as a devoted housewife.
The couple has four children, Sherry Evans, of Sapulpa, Doug Worley, of Blackwell, and Joni Cantrell and Stacie Cruz, both of Muskogee; seven grandchildren, Jenny Evans-Jarrell, Courtney Evans, Brittany Cantrell, Joshua Worley, Andrew Worley, Nathaniel Worley and Austin Cruz; and one great-grandchild, Taylor Jarrell.
