Nearly one hundred friends and relatives attended a reception which honored the golden anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Moss, Mounds. It was held Sunday between the hours of 3 and 5 at First Christian Church in Mounds.
Hosts at the reception were the couple's son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert V. Moss of Aurora, Col. They were assisted by Mrs. L. O. McNabb Jr., Mrs. W. J. Potts, Mrs. Jack Sparks, Mrs. Burke Gilbreath and other ladies of the church.
Out-of-town guests included Albert and Ruby Tabb, and Doris Hicks, Sapulpa; Elva Nevins, William S. Bayouth and the Rev. David W. Cone, all of Tulsa.
And, A. B. "Bus" Bayouth of Skiatook, Jeanie West and children, Coweta; the Rev. John M. Hess, Sand Springs, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Moss, Jenks.
From Kiefer were Mrs. and Mrs. Leon Barnhart, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Barnhart, Mrs. Harley Mason, Mrs. Mabel Lowery, Mamie and Terrence Cook, Hope and Louis E. McGinty, Roy and Mabelle Bohlander, Mick and Lorene McGuire and Johnny.
Photographs were taken throughout the period to record the callers. These were presented to the couple to be kept with their book of memories.
