Kristie Ann Adkins, and Martin Wayne Cothern were joined in marriage February 23, at the Lakeview Christian Church in Mannford. The wedding took place Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Robert W. Hough officiating.
Kristie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.P. (Butch) Adkins of Mannford. She is a 1982 graduate of Mannford High School and is employed as an EMT for the Hominy Ambulance Service.
Mr. Cothern is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Cothern of Glenpool and he attended school in Tulsa. He is now employed as a welder for Resource Eng. of Tulsa.
The color scheme for the wedding was blue on white, with the church being decorated with flowers accordingly.
The bride's gown was a Victorian style of white satin, chiffon and chantilly lace, trimmed in seed pearls with a long sweeping train trimmed with ruffles and chantilly lace.
Harold Thornhill, cousin of the groom, served as best-man, and Paula Adkins, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.
A large reception, well attended, followed the ceremony and was held at the church.
The young couple will be residing in Hominy, Oklahoma.
