A surprise 50th wedding anniversary party was given January 5 in honor of Ermon and Val Dana Hubbard, in their Drumright home, 412 S. Grand. Hosting the gathering were their children.
The Hubbards were married January 19, 1935, at Shamrock. Ermon is retired from the Athletic Department of Stanford University at Palo Alto, California and Val Dana is a housewife.
Attending were their son Harvey Hubbard and wife Kathy of Atlantic, Texas; son Gene Hubbard of Hayward, Texas; daughter Judy Cooper and husband Jerry of Owasso. Grandchildren attending were Krista Niccum and Kerry Judd of Cushing, Kim Carter and Kellie Bias and husband Robby of Tulsa and Harv and Scott Hubbard of Atlantic, Texas.
Great-grandchildren attending were Korbin, Kara, Kourtney and Kristopher Niccum and Kenny Judd, Jr. all of Cushing and Brent and Erica Carter and Amanda and Holli Bias all of Tulsa. Also attending was longtime friend Blanche Bateman of Drumright.
