Walter and Cleva (Posten) McBroom of Drumright will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, December 14 from 2 to 5 p.m.
The festivities will be held at the Silver City Freewill Baptist Church in Silver City, where both are members and will be hosted by their three children: Louise Haskins of Silver City, OK, Pat Chandler of Olive, and Roger McBroom of Silver City.
The couple were married on December 25th in 1936. Both grew up together and attended Sand Creek School.
They have three children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
