Jim and Louise McWhirt celebrated their twelfth Wedding Anniversary and Jim's 75th Birthday Sat. 12-20-86 at the Shamrock Senior Citizens Center. The celebration started at 5:00 p.m. with a social hour and dinner for approximately fifty five friends and relatives. Both Birthday and Anniversary gifts were given.
The McWhirts have been in the Shamrock area for eight years, being employed by Jack Sellers as Welder. A daughter from Independence, Kansas and a brother from Dallas, Texas came the farthest. McWhirts three sons and six of his seven children were present.
