Funeral mass for Thomas Glenn Naifeh, 413 E. Federal, Drumright, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Fathers Morgan and Paris will officiate. Interment will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
He was born January 15, 1964, at Tulsa and died Monday in an automobile accident. He was 20. He is the son of the late Glenn Naifeh and Elizabeth Naifeh of the Drumright address. At the time of his death he was a student at Oklahoma State University.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth of Drumright; brothers Bill of Kingfisher and Joe Naifeh of Drumright and sisters Patricia Parker of Tuttle, Kay Naifeh of Tulsa and Glenda Brown of Ada.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Drumright.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
Graveside services were held April 7 at 2 p.m., in Oilton for Opal Lorene Tippin Neil. She was born August 30, 1914, at Marion, Indiana, and died April 4, 1986, at Oklahoma City, she was 71.
In 1916 she moved to Oilton and married Carl D. Tippin in 1930 at Shamrock. For many years they ran Carl's Food Store in Oilton. Tippin preceded her in death on February 12, 1947, and she moved to Borger, Texas, in 1951.
She and Leonard Neil were married in 1962, he preceded her in death in 1983.
Neil is survived by brother Jake McFarren and sister Wanita McFarren both of Novato, Calif.; son Carl Wayne Tippin of Borger, Texas; daughter May L. Tippin of Oklahoma City and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were under the direction of the Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Notie Nelson, age 81, passed away May 23, 1987 at the Drumright Nursing Home.
Mrs. Nelson was born May 11, 1906 in Tennessee and moved with her parents, the late W. D. and Melvina Fergurson, to the Drumright area about 1920.
Survivors are one son, Wallace B. Nelson of Arlington, Tx; one grandson and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Bailes Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 1987 with the Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Leota Fincher at the organ and Jerry and Tim Smith as vocalists.
Pallbearers were Roy Shoemaker, Keith Shoemaker, Vernon Turner, Claude Hicks, Billy Hoggatt and Tim Smith.
Interment was in North Cemetery under the direction of Bailes Funeral Home.
Glenn Nethercutt
Funeral services were held Monday, July 7, 1986 at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Drumright, for Glenn W. Nethercutt who died July 4, 1986 at the Drumright Memorial Hospital. Rev. Bob Ross officiated with Rev. Francis Boyer assisting. Serving as organist was Doris Brown with vocalists Thelma Black and Jeff Hunter. Casket bearers were Bob McClain, Dick Hart, John Brown, Wayne Patton, Virgil Cooper and Jack Embry. Honorary pallbearers were the remaining Deacon Body of the First Baptist Church.
Glenn W. Nethercutt was born August 23, 1905 in Aurora, Missouri. Glenn had made his home in Drumright for the past 68 years, after moving here from Kansas. Glenn had worked for the Texas Company and had retired as a city employee. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Drumright Masonic Lodge number 468.
Glenn and his wife, Rea, were united in marriage on April 7, 1934 at Oak Grove.
His survivors include his wife, Rea, of the home; two daughters, Janice Faye Nethercutt and Sandra Kay Christy, both of Drumright; his sister, Berniece Swisher, Hackett, Arkansas and his half-brother, Robert S. Bump, Yuma, Arizona. Two grandchildren, Timothy Glenn and Patrick Kelly Cardwell and one great-grandson, Christopher Lee Cardwell.
Interment was in the New Zion Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma, with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
Sharon Louise Newberry, 721 N. Cimarron, was born December 13, 1952 and passed away Monday, April 29th, 1985.
Married in Maerdian, Conn. Parents Fred J. and Barbara May Richarderson.

Graveside services for Wayne Allen Newbolt, Mannford, were held February 18 at 1 p.m. at the Woodland Cemetery in Sand Springs. John Perdue officiated.
He was born February 4, 1985, at Tulsa to Jeff and Teresa Newbolt, and died February 13.
Survivors are his parents of the home; sister Jennifer Renee Newbolt; grandparents Katherine and Charles Henry and Gerald and Diane Newbolt and great-grandparents Eunice Canzada Henry, Ellen Newbolt and Charles and Ruth Hoggatt.
Funeral services were under the direction of Mobldy-Dodson Lakeside Funeral Service.
John Gordon Newman
John Gordon Newman, Sr. age 68 passed away March 10, 1987 at the Drumright Memorial Hospital. He was born April 21, 1918 in Los Angeles, California. His parents Harry and Agnes Newman, two sons, a brother and a sister all preceded him in death.
His is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Johhna Martin of Drumright. two brothers, Joe Newmand, of San Diego, Bill Newmand, of Richmond, Calif., a sister Beverly Ettles, of Sand Diego, Ca. Two grandsons, Dhris and Rodney Martin of Drumright. His second mother, Joanna Newman of Richmond, Ca.
Mass and interment will be in Richmond, California.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Bailes Funeral Home.
Graveside services for Ruth L. Newsom were held Tuesday, September 8, 1987 in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, Ok. Mrs. Newsom died Sunday, September 6, 1987 in Stillwater Medical center at the age of 94.
The Rev. Robert Tupper of the United Methodist Church in Drumright officiated at the services, which were arranged by Reavis Funeral Home of Stillwater.
Mrs. Newsom was born in Wanette on March 21, 1893 and was the daughter of Joseph Edward and Mary Louella (Lamirand) Mellot. She was educated in Wanette and Haskell Institute at Lawrence, Kansas.
She moved to Drumright in 1917 during the oil boom, where she was manager of the Sears catalog store. She moved to Stillwater in 1948 and lived there until 1978, when she moved to Houston, Texas. She moved back to Stillwater in 1982.
She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include three sons, Durward Earl Newsom of Stillwater; Coy Newsom of Brewton, Ala.; and Roy Newsom of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Neva M. Reed of Stillwater and Mrs. W. R. (Bernice) Newsom of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Gene Franklin Newton
Funeral services were held October 10, 1986, at 2 p.m. in the Shamrock First Baptist Church for Gene Franklin Newton.
Newton was born March 21, 1932, in Osage, Oklahoma, and had made his home in this community since 1960. He was retired from ARCO and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Shamrock. Newton and his wife, Julia, were united in marriage on February 21, 1953, at Pawhuska, Ok. During his working years with ARCO, Newton has served as secretary for the OCAW.
Officiating at his service was George Brock, II with music provided by pianist Elaine Rainwater and voclist Wayne Franklin. Serving as pallbearers were W. E. Robinson, Sterlin Stafford, Ray Carroll, James Reece, Stoney Burke and Glenn Denson.
He is survived by his wife Julia of the home; son Kenneth Newton of Drumright; daughter Mary Davis of Cushing and four grandchildren.
Interment was in the Albert Powell Cemetery, Hominy, Ok., with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
Wiley W. Nichols, 220 E. Dale, died at the Drumright Memorial Hospital. He was born December 29, 1913, at Mulberry, Arkansas, to Claud and Ettie M. Nichols. He and his family came to this area when he was at a very young age. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
He married Rose Marie Snell December 27, 1941, at Drumright, Ok, where they have made their home. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church for 35 years, where he has served as a deacon. He was employed as a senior clerk for the Oklahoma Gas and Electric service office until his retirement in 1976.
He was a member of the Weart-Grey Post #116 of the American Legion. During WWII he served in the Army in New Guinea, Bismark Archipelago and Southern Philippines.
He is survived by his wife Rose of the home; three daughters Helen M. Nichols of the home, Mary S. Nichols of Tulsa and Linda Gayhart of Cushing; sister Peggy Fisher of Enid and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 17, 1986, at the First Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating were the Revs. James A. Franklin, Earl Judd and Jerry Smith. Music was by Leota Fincher at the organ, Wilma Mills, Doris Shoemaker and Jim Franklin.
Pallbearers were Gerald Wright, Kenneth Frazier, Roy Shoemaker, Richard Mangold, Bobby Lloyd, Mack Beard and Gene Smith.
Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Clara Maria Noll, Terlton, formerly of Tulsa, were held June 1, 1987, at the Chapman-Black Chapel, Cleveland, with Father Dan Kohane officiating.
Interment was at Oakhill Cemetery, Mannford.
Clara died Friday, May 29, 1987 at her home. She was 89 years old. She was born in Hohenstadt, Germany on January 27, 1898, the daughter of Johan and Clara (Geiger) Mayer. She married Friedrich Noll in Stuttgard, Germany on October 14, 1922. Mr. Noll preceded her in death on April 25, 1982.
Mrs. Noll was a member of the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mannford.
Survivors include one daughter Elizabeth Gifford of Terlton; three granddaughters: Gloria McCormick and Barbara Campbell both of Tulsa, and Carolyn Rodebush of Cushing; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Clara Maria Noll, Terlton, formerly of Tulsa, were held June 1, 1987, at the Chapman-Black Chapel, Cleveland, Oklahoma with Father Dan Kohane officiating.
Interment was at Oakhill Cemetery, Mannford, under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Sarah L. (Malone) Nolin, 1123 E. Walnut, Cushing, will be held at the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, Cushing, at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. L. L. Henderson will officiate. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
She was born March 13, 1907 in Washington City, Arkansas and died April 30 in the Stillwater Hospital, she was 77.
For the past 45 years she had been a resident of the Cushing and Drumright areas.
She is survived by daughter Norma Morris of Woodward; sisters Silas Carter of Wewoka, Molly Bruce of Arkansas and Rosie Sheets of Fresno, California; brothers Mark of Seminole and George Carter of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchldren.
Music was provided by members of the family.
Pall bearers will be James D., Edward E. and Larry K. Morris and Terry Barnett.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
Douglas Scott Norman
Former Mannford resident, Douglas Scott Norman, 12, passed away Sunday, September 11, in the home of his father, Bill Norman.
Survivors include his parents, Bill Norman and Diana Fender, grandparents, Ishmael and Beulah Lisle and Murlar Lee Norman, three brothers, Timothy, Stacy and Billie Norman and three sisters, Lisa Norman, Kimberly Gordan and Kristine Sanders.
The funeral will be Wednesday, September 14, at the Assembly of God Church. Reverend Don Couch will officiate. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Ted B. Norwood, Sr.
Ted B. Norwood, Sr., 70, of Mannford, died Wednesday, March 23, 1988.
Services were held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Mannford Church of Christ with David Stites officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Home.
Mr. Norwood was born on November 3, 1917 in Pavo, Ga. He and Wilma Allen exchanged wedding vows on April 3, 1976 in Mannford. He was a member of the Mannford Church of Christ and a retired service station operator.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma, of the home; one daughter, Cindy Cooper of Stillwater; five sons, Ted, Jr., and Paul Norwood, both of Mannford, Don Norwood, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Tom Norwood of the United Arab Emirites and Ray Norwood, of Stillwater; two stepsons, Larry Brown of Lawrence, Kan., and Rick Brown, of Tulsa; one step-daughter, Patricia Lenord of Rossville, Kan.,; four sisters, Pearl Ogle of Enid, Opal Thompson of Tulsa, Ruby Louise Hanniger of Erika, Kan., and Jewel Norwood, of Drumright; 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ted Norwood, Sr.
Ted was born to John and Elizabeth Norwood on November 3, 1916 in Pavo, Georgia. He passed away on March 23, 1988 in Mannford, Okla.
Mr. Norwood was a member of the Mannford Church of Christ and was also affiliated with the Retired Service Station Operators Association.
On January 30, 1937, he was married to Kathryn Hamilton. Kathryn passed away on March 27, 1975 after 38 years of marriage.
Mr. Norwood married Wilma Allen Brown on April 3, 1976.
He owned and operated the first DX gasoline station in New Mannford, and also owned and operated the wrecker service. He loved gospel singing and Bob Wills recordings. He would have his children listen to Bob Wills and say, "Now, that's singing." Ted loved to hear his son Paul, sing and lead the congregation in songs. Paul led his dad's favorite song, "Father Along," at the funeral services.
He left many memories with his children and grandchildren. He was famous for his one-liners, such as 'About like a share cropper,' 'Fair to midland,' and 'Bite me.'
He also had nicknames for his grandchildren. One grandchild had him named, "Maynard."
He had a song he would sing to his daughter, "Cindy O Cindy."
Mr. Norwood was survived by his wife, Wilma, of the home; daughter, Cindy Cooper, of Stillwater; sons, Ted and Paul, both of Mannford; Don of West Palm Beach, Fl., Tom of United Arab Emirates, and Ray of Stillwater; stepsons Larry Brown, of Lawrence, Ks., and Rick Brown, of Tulsa; stepdaughter, Pat Lenard, of Rossville, Ks.; sisters Pearl Agle, of Enid; Opal Thompson, Tulsa; Ruby Louise Hanniger, Eureka, Ks. and Jewel Norwood, of Drumright; 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Eulah Pricilla Nuttall, daughter of Josiah B. and Nettie Rebecca Beltz Wampler, was born January 11, 1899, at Arkoe, Missouri. She departed from this life December 3, 1987 at Drumright, Ok. at the age of 88 years.
As a young girl, she moved with her parents to a homestead south of Harmon, Ok. Later she helped her mother operate the telephone office at Harmon and then the Demolay Hotel in Annett, Ok. where she met Price Nuttall whom she married in Shattuck, Ok. on September 15, 1919.
The young couple chose a teaching career and Eulah taught school at Lonebell located about twenty-five miles southeast of Annett.
They later moved to Enid, Ok. for a few years where their three children were born, Rebecca, Roy and Francis.
In 1929, they moved back to the Redden Community and began their farming operation where they lived until Price passed away in 1980.
In the early 1930's Eulah became a licensed minister in the Church of the Nazarene and held services at Pie Flatt, Three Corners, and Clifford, all in Roger Mills County. She continued this ministry until war broke out in 1941.
In 1981, she admitted herself to the Drumright Nursing Home where she was President of the Residents Council. She also held weekly devotions for the Nursing Home and went to bedfast patients' rooms and held individual devotions.
She was also elected Mrs. Nursing Home Queen for 1984. Eulah was a past member of the Rebecca Lodge and a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Mannford, Ok.
Mrs. Nuttall was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Wampler; her husband, Price; one daughter, Rebecca; and one son, Roy.
She is survived by one son, Francis and his wife, Wanda of Mannford, Ok.; also a grandson, whom she raised, Gary and his wife, Linda of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter-in-law, Hazel of Tulsa; four grandsons and their wives: Roy Jr.; Thomas and wife, Kay; Richard and wife, Marilyn; Robert and wife, Carol, all of the Tulsa area. Seven great-grandchildren; also one brother, Edwin Wampler and his wife of Orlando, Fla.; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 7, 1987, at the First Baptist Church in Annett, Ok. at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Hodges officiating.
Burial was held in DeBolt Cemetery, Annett, under the direction of Shaw Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eulah Nuttall passed away last week. Her funeral was held at Vici, Ok., her old home. She had been in Drumright Nursing Home for sometime. She was nominated Queen of the Drumright Nursing Home and has a big picture on the wall at the Home. She was also a minister. Her son Francis Nuttall is a member of Mannford Nazarine Church. She leaves her relatives and many friends.
