Bob Strain pulled a rare feat at Western Village golf course Saturday. He scored a hole-in-one and the ball went into the cup on the fly.

Strain got his ace on the 154-yard fourth hole with a four-iron.

A golf clinic for younsters, held in conjunction with the upcoming Jaycee juniors tournament, attracted 100. Low scores for the day included a 72 by Bob Kappus and a 74 by Norman Ryser.
