WALTER ANDREW STRAIN, son of Priscilla Mankins, daughter of Peter Mankins II, son of Peter Mankins I, son of John Mankins, was born November 2, 1873 in Washington County, Arkansas, and died on May 31, 1966, in Sapulpa, Creek County, Oklahoma.

Walter Andrew Strain married (1) Frances "Fannie" May Davidson, (2) Cora Elizabeth Lacock.

1. Roy Edward Strain, born August 22, 1901 in Haskell County, Texas, and died on December 11, 1964. He married Mable Michener.

2. Mary Lucille Strain, born July 26, 1904 in Haskell County, Texas, and died on April 30, 1985. She married Lee Roby.

3. Leonard Earl Strain, born February 25, 1906 in Haskell County, Texas, and died on March 30, 1963, in Sapulpa, Creek County, Oklahoma. He married Edna May Beach.

Mrs. Lacock and Walter Strain were united in marriage at the Sacred Heart Catholic church rectory at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Vows of the nuptial service were repeated before Rev. James Rooney. Attendants of the bridal pair were Mr. and Mrs. James Meylor. Mr. and Mrs. Strain will be at home at 1030 East McKinley avenue.
