MARY "POLLY" STRAIN

MARY "POLLY" STRAIN, daughter of Robert Fulton Strain and Mary Jack Wilson, was born April 11, 1815 in Kentucky, and died September 14, 1886.

She married Henry Maxwell in 1834 in White Water Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Washington County, Arkansas. Henry Maxwell was the son of James Maxwell and Hannah Novel.

2. Amanda (Mandy) Maxwell, born 1835; died and buried in Dean Cemetery, Parker County, Texas.

3. Jane Maxwell, born July 1837.

4. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Maxwell, born June 11, 1839; died June 15, 1909. Buried in Sipe Springs Cemetery, Comanche County, Texas.

5. William Reason Maxwell, born September 2, 1841; died December 16, 1878. Buried in Sipe Springs Cemetery, Comanche County, Texas.

6. Robert Strain Maxwell, born March 13, 1844; died December 16, 1878. Buried in Rising Star Cemetery, Eastland County, Texas.

7. Martha Ann Maxwell, born February 12, 1847; died February 1, 1880. Buried in Sipe Spring Cemetery, Comanche County, Texas.

8. James Polk (Jimmie) Maxwell, born March 24, 1848; died January 22, 1921. Buried in Rising Star Cemetery, Eastland County, Texas.

9. Hannah Minerva Maxwell, born February 18, 1850; died February 23, 1925 in Rising Star, Texas. Buried in Rising Star Cemetery, Eastland County, Texas.

10. Henry Dixon Maxwell, born August 11, 1851; died April 21, 1944 in Baldwin Park, California. Buried in Live Oak Cemetery, Monrovia, California.

11. George Washington Maxwell, born May 7, 1854; died February 10, 1930 in Altus, Jackson County, Oklahoma. Buried in Altus Cemetery, Jackson County, Oklahoma.
