WAGGONER, Lois -- Lois Virginia Waggoner, 88, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2006.
She was born March 21, 1917.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Letitia Cemetery in Lawton, Okla.

Mrs. Lilly Wagoner, 77, died Sept. 30 in West Tulsa. She was born in Grove, Mo. Her husband was the late William H. Wagoner.
She is survived by two sons, Lester and Hershal Valdick. Services were held in the Baptist church in Red Fork with interment at the Woodlawn cemetery in Sand Springs. Arrangements were by Hendricks Funeral home.

Funeral services for Billy Ray Walkup, 28, of Fort Worth, Texas, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist church.
Mr. Walkup, a carpenter, was killed last Thursday when his car collided headon with another vehicle on rain-slick Highway 114 between Fort Worth and Dallas.
He was a native of Bixby and attended school at Liberty and Mounds. His mother is Mrs. Molly Walkup of Jenks and two sisters, Mrs. Claude Thomas and Mrs. Hollis Martin are also Jenks residents. Other survivors include the widow, Vera; two daughters, Janice Marie and Virginia Lee, a step-son, Michael, and three other sisters, Mrs. Myron W. Rough, Tulsa; Mrs. Eric Shanks, Bixby, and Mrs. J. E. Laughlin, Azusa, California.

BIXBY -- Burkett H. Wamsley, a former Tulsa County Commissioner and author, died Sept. 12 in Prescott, Ariz. He was 91.
A graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Monday at the Bixby Cemetery under the direction of Bixby Funeral Service.
Wamsley was born May 11, 1914, in Bixby and grew up on a farm on property south of town that was claimed by his grandparents before Oklahoma became a state.
He graduated from Bixby High School and continued his education at the Oklahoma Military Academy and the University of Arkansas, where he received a degree in journalism in 1936.
After college, he worked in Oklahoma and out of state in public relations and advertising.
Wamsley married Elizabeth Gillespie on July 7, 1947, in Illinois.
When his parents retired from farming in 1950, he returned to Bixby to farm and ranch on the family's land.
Wamsley was elected to the Tulsa County Commission in 1964.
After leaving office in 1974, he moved with his family to Arizona.
He owned and operated a radio station in Willcox, Ariz. for five years before retiring to Prescott, Ariz.
Wamsley also was an author, having written "Savage Vengeance in the Indian Territory," a tale of a Creek Indian's drive for justice before the Civil War.
He also wrote "Hell at High Noon" and articles for Wild West Weekly, Farm and Ranch, and Popular Western magazines.
Wamsley was a former president of the Tulsa County Farm Bureau and the Bixby Chamber of Commerce.
He also was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, the First Christian Church, the Rotary Club and the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Wamsley of Prescott; a son, Cody Wamsley of Prescott; a daughter, Ann McDaniels of Port Angeles, Wash.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends are contributing to The Salvation Army Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.
JENKS -- Barbara (Sutherland) Ward, 70, retail clothing buyer, died Wednesday. Memorial service 10 a.m. Tuesday, First United Methodist Church. Fitzgerald's Southwood Colonial, Tulsa.
James Alfred Ward, 73, Route 2, passed away Feb. 20 in a Bartlesville hospital after a short illness.
He was a charter member of Airview Tabernacle Assembly of God Church. For thirty years, he was secretary-treasurer of Assemblies of God churches.
He is survived by the widow, Orpha Rosa of the home; sons, Cecil B. Ward and Byrl H. Ward both of Bartlesville; Rev. Everett L. Ward, Asunician, Paraguay; daughters, Mrs. Florence Watson, Tulsa; Mrs. Sarah Slankard, Broken Arrow; Mrs. Frances Yater, Jenks; a brother, Henry J. Ward, Tulsa; sisters, Mrs. Anna Wilson, Tulsa; Mrs. Lillie LeGrand, Pryor; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Manger Baptist Church, with interment at Memorial Park, under Moore's Funeral Directors.

WASHINGTON, Elmer -- Elmer "Bill" Washington, 79, of Broken Arrow, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Saint Francis Hospital. He was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Bixby.

WASSON -- Mary Nell, 82, of Sapulpa, passed away Monday, July 22, 2002, at St. John Hospital. Born in Russellville, AR on September 13, 1919 to William Madison and Martha Sue Moon, Mary graduated from Jenks High School in 1938. She retired from Liberty Glass Co. of Sapulpa. Mary was preceded in death by daughter, Dee Raper. WASSON-BROOME, Margaret V., born March 25, 1921 to George and Helen Wasson of Jenks, OK. She married B.B. Broome of Tulsa, November 15, 1946. While living in Tulsa Margaret was active in a number of civic and social activities. The Broome family moved to Oklahoma City in 1971 where B.B. owned and operated Spartan Aviation Services. Margaret served as Acting Vice President. She was active in a number of civic functions in Oklahoma City as well. Margaret and family enjoyed many happy summers at the Fin and Feather Resort in Gore, OK, where the family maintained a mobile home for many years. Margaret passed away Saturday, June 15, 2002, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Bradley B. Broome; and sister, Inez Lowe. She is survived by: her husband of 55 years, B.B.; daughter, Brenda Broome Christian of Victoria, VA and daughter, Sue Carol Oliver of Moore, OK. She is also survived by: sister, Louise Roberts of Tulsa, OK; aunt, Daisy Mitchell of Tulsa, OK; Tommy Burton; and uncle, Leroy Brown of West Plains, MO. "Mamoo" was loved and adored by her 3 grandchildren and their families: Mark Christian and wife, Amy of Columbia, MO, Spencer Christian and fiancee, Jill Allen of Broomfield, CO and Sarah Oliver of Moore, OK; and her 2 great-grandchildren, William Blake Christian and Caroline Margaret Christian of Columbia, MO. Clinton Dewayne Watashe, 27, of Glenpool, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003. He was born March 31, 1976 in Claremore.
He was a Baptist and had attended Glenpool Schools.

WATKINS, Nora -- Nora Marie Watkins, 85, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004 at her residence in Glenpool. She was born in Arthur to Gabe Doss and Marietta Stringer on March 11, 1919. She married Edmon Watkins in Okmulgee in 1939.
She was preceded in death by both parents Gabe Doss and Marietta Stringer.
She is survived by her husband Edmon Watkins, of Glenpool; daughters Dorothy Johnson, of Afton, Lavada Thompson, of Tulsa, and Mary Housdan, of Tulsa; her sister Virginia Simpson, of California, Mo.; and five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2004 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Brett Allen officiating. Committal will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa immediately following the funeral service.

Mr. William Donald Watson, 59, died in Houston Tuesday evening of cancer. He had lived in Jenks 31 years before going to Houston. A 1929 graduate of Jenks high, he was active in football. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Watson, formerly of Jenks, now 502 South Independence, Sapulpa.
The body will arrive 3:15 Thursday evening. Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday at the Owen Funeral Home in Sapulpa.
In addition to his parents he is survived by the widow, Louise; two daughters; one son; a brother, Joe, of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Dorris Spencer of Drumright; and 6 grandchildren.

RICKY CARL WAYT
Former Jenks resident Ricky Carl Wayt passed away Jan. 20 at the age of 49. Mr. Wayt was born January 17, 1955 in Tulsa, the son of Shirley Moore and Carl Wayt.
Mr. Wayt was a brick mason for a number of years but most recently was employed by the Tulsa Fairgrounds.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ann. He is survived by his father, Sam Carl Wayt, his mother, Shirley Wegner, and stepfather, Charles; a brother, Clint Smock and a sister, Terry Vance.
Services were entrusted to Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

WEAST -- Kevin D., died Thursday, September 22, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 1, 1967, in Bethesda, MD to Rev. Forest and Patricia Poole Weast. His family settled in Oklahoma in 1975. He attended Lexington Public Schools before moving to Midwest City in 1980, where he graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1986. He attended East Central University for 2 years and earned his Accounting degree from Oklahoma Baptist University. Kevin was very active in the accounting field and was a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and Tulsa Conference of Accountants. Kevin earned his certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Public Accountant. He was employed by Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group as a Director of Special Porjects in the Marketing Department. He was a member of South Tulsa Baptist Church where he actively served as a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon and choir member. Kevin was an energetic, and motivated team player. He loved basketball and softball. He played in many leagues and teams throughout his lifetime. Kevin loved being outside. He especially enjoyed working in the yard, going on bicycle rides and taking his children to the park. Friendships were important to him and he prided himself in keeping in touch with friends across the miles. Kevin was a dependable friend, always willing to help when needed. He lived his life as a faithful servant of God, a devoted husband, and a loyal father. He was preceded in death by: his infant sister, Janet; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Lillie Mearl Weast; and maternal grandfather, J.C. Poole. Surviving are his wife, Stephanie; daughters, Sayre and Schuler; and son, Bryer, all of the home. He is also survived by: his parents, Rev. Forest and Patricia Weast of Ada; sister, Kimberly Weast-Sabella and brother-in-law, Lieutenant Colonel James Sabella; nieces, Hannah and Rachel; and nephew, Anthony, all of Troy, IL; and grandmother, Viva Greene Poole of Ada. WEAVER -- Josephine Aneta, 87, born in Charity, MO on August 22, 1914, died Saturday, October 20, 2001. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1932. She married Otto Weaver in 1934 and lived most of her life in Bixby. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bixby. She retired as a Preschool Director at South Tulsa Baptist Church, worked many years as a C.N.A. at Bixby Manor and in retail sales. In addition, she volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader and with the March of Dimes. Her husband and 2 infant children preceded her in death. Joseph Alanzo (Lou)Weese, 76, of 1427 North Quanah Ave., semi-retired gardner, died Sunday of a heart attack suffered while vising a daughter, Mrs. Arthur B. Lane, Sperry.
Born at Bolivar, Mo., Mr. Weese came to Oklahoma 50 years ago from Springfield, Mo., and settled near Keystone. He lived in Jenks 22 years before moving to Tulsa.
Mr. Weese was an employee of Mrs. Henery's Flower Shop for 40 years before his semi-retirement a year ago.
His wife, Lila, whom he married at Muskogee in 1902, died in 1941.
Survivors include three other daughters, Mrs. James H. Walker, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. V. A. Forker, Mingo Road, and Mrs. Homer Perryman of the home; two sons, C. W. Weese, Jenks, and W. L. Weese, 4540 So. 31st W. Ave.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Parrish, Joshua Tree, Calif., 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

WELLING -- Harold V., 93, died Sunday in Westminster, CO. Born In Jenks, OK. Retired as Supervisor with Carnation Milk Company after 27 years. After his retirement, he donated his talent, time and expertise to Holy Family Cathedral, the church where he was baptized as an infant. Harold was a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he served as Grand Knight, District Deputy, and State Deputy. His highest honor as a Knight came when he served as Supreme Warden of Knights of Columbus. He was also a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. Also, along with his wife before her death were both honored as Knights Grand Cross of Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre. He was preceded in death by his sweetheart and loving wife of 70 years, Tommie, on June 8, 2002 and his son, Billy. Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Carol Welling of Bloomfield, CO; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Graveside services for Norma Jean West, 72, were 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. West died Tuesday, Oct. 19, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa following a brief illness.
She was born March 16, 1932 in Jenks, the daughter of Clinton and Sadie Drucilla Wasson Jordan.
She graduated from Jenks High School in 1953.
She married Richard John West who preceded her in death in 1979. Norma Jean was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a granddaughter, Misty Lynn Ladd.
She is survived by her son Richard Wallace West and wife Kay of Tulsa; her daughters Jeanette Davis and husband Melvin, Connie May Ladd and husband, Lenny, all of Tulsa; a sister, Mildred Bassett of Jenks; a brother, Raymond Jordan of Turley, 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mr. Westbrook, a resident of Yazoo City, Mississippi, died of a heart attack.

Mrs. Westfall was born Nov. 5, 1909 in Rago, Kan.
Survivors are her children, Sam Westfall Jr., Sue Bolen of Sapulpa, and Vada Skinner of Jenks; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Born Dec. 2, 1939 at Muldrow, Okla., to Argie Mitchell and Maudie Looney Wheat, he had lived in the Jenks area for 27 years, moving here from Shawnee. He was a former employee of McDonnell Douglas, working as a machinist. He had also done work as a carpenter.
Dempsey and Sheila Rodgers were united in marriage Aug. 5, 1962 at Lawton, Okla. They had been married for 39 years. He is survived by his wife, of the home; one daughter, Kimberly Diaz of Jenks; six sisters, Erma Paishon, Vangie Ruckman, Margie Jeremiah and Lois Ahall, all of Tulsa, Carolyn of Boise, Idaho and Zella Mae Slinger of Iowa; one granddaughter and thirty nieces and nephews.

Born March 18, 1919 to Dennis and Florence Birdie Sooter White, Archie was a retired distillation operator for Sunoco Oil. He served in the U.S. Army. He and Mary Allene Chasteen were married April 12, 1951 in Tulsa.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one daughter, Deborah Burrows; a son, James R. White; three brothers, Bill White, Dennie White and Lloyd White; two grandchildren and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Minnie Cora Pregler White, 84, died Aug. 12, 2000, in Jenks following an extended illness.
White was a charter member of Beaver Street Baptist Church (1971-1972), where she was a very active member, sang in the choir, directed vacation Bible schools and was church clerk.
She was also a member of the Tulsa State Fair Board and Tulsa County Home Extension.
Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, in Beaver Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Vance Wiley officiating. Interment was at Bixby City Cemetery.
Mrs. White was born Jan. 31, 1916, in Bixby, Okla. She was the daughter of William and Cora (Banse) Pregler.
She was married to Lynn Howard White for 65 years until his death in 1993.
She is survived by: son, Marshall L. White and his wife Elena of Tulsa; grandchildren: Kandee Lynn Keeling of Tulsa; Doug Sandridge of Littleton, Colorado; and Major David Sandridge of Mililiani, Hawaii; two great-grandchildren; and her brother, Earl Pregler of Tulsa.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine Wheeler and brothers William Pregler, Kenneth Pregler, and Charles Pregler.
Pall bearers were: Rick Pregler, Bill Johnson, Stuart Pregler, Terry Bradley, John Covey and Stan Kirkendall.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

James Ray Wicker
Services for James Ray Wicker, 71, were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Interment was at 2 p.m. at Three Rivers Cemetery, Okay, Okla.
Wicker was born Feb. 18, 1933, the son of Albert Ray Wicker and Margaret Louisa Taylor Wicker in Tulsa. He died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
Wicker graduated from Coweta High School. He married Ruth Dunbar on Feb. 1, 1954 and spent the rest of his life living in Tulsa.
He was a truck driver and retired from Stone Trucking Company. He enjoyed dancing.
Wicker was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Bobby and one sister, Charlene Sue; his wife, Ruth and a son, Randy Wicker.
He is survived by his son, Ricky and wife, Brenda of Glenpool; a daughter, Reva and Jr. Morgan of Baton Rouge, La.; a daughter-in-law, Paula Wicker of Tulsa and son, Robert and his wife, Kelly Wicker of Tulsa.

RANDY WICKER
Randy Wicker, 42, was born Oct. 9, 1958 in Tulsa to James "Sonny" and Ruth Dunbar Wicker and resided on the west side all of his life.
He passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001.
Randy was employed with Bama Foods as a shipping and receiving clerk for 18 years.
He was a member of the Jenks Free Will Baptist Church and the National Youth Association of Coaches. He was active with his church and community youth groups, coaching girls' softball and basketball, and driving the church bus to transport children to church and other activities.
Randy will be remembered by family and friends for always giving a helping hand and a smile.
Randy is survived by his wife of 17 years, Paula Snodderly Wicker, two daughters, Tara Michelle Wicker and Kayla Denise Wicker; his father, James "Sonny" Wicker of Sapulpa; two brothers, Ricky Wicker and his wife, Brenda, of Glenpool and Robert Wicker of Tulsa; a sister, Reva Morgan and her husband, Junior, of Louisiana; and many anuts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, along with a host of friends.
His mother, Ruth Wicker; and his grandmothers, Argie Pearl Dunbar and Margaret Taylor Wicker, preceded him in death.

Mrs. Willhoite died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at Broken Arrow Medical Center.
Mrs. Willhoite was born April 7, 1908 in Troy, Tennessee to Joe and Dora (Jeffries) Crockett. She graduated from Glenpool High School in 1927 and received her bachelor of science degree from Northeastern State College in 1958.
On July 7, 1929 she and James Gomez Engel were married in Muskogee. He preceded her in death.
She then married Elbert F. Hall on April 4, 1944. He also preceded her in death.
On Feb. 21, 1958 she and Irvin Willhoite were married. Willhoite preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. Willhoite was a school teacher in numerous country schools around the Coweta area. She also worked for Coweta Public Schools until her retirement in 1972.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Coweta Study Club, the Retired Teacher's Association, the Oklahoma Education Association and the National Education Association.
Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, gardening and cooking. She was also an avid reader.
Mrs. Willhoite is survived by three sons and their wives, Albert Joe and Nancy Engel of Edmond, David and Eloise Engel of Coweta and Ray Gene and Janice Engel of Jenks; three step-sons and their wives, Glenn and Lomeda Hall of Coweta, Earl and Linda Hall of Plano, Tex. and Harold and Betty Willhoite of Coweta; one foster daughter and her husband, Bernice and David Boyd of Tulsa; one step-daughter and her husband, Vergie and Jim Hughes of Coweta; one step-daughter-in-law, Jean Hall of Broken Arrow; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

He spent 30 years in New Mexico as a Restaurant Manger, was a Master Craftsman and most recently worked at Kimberly Clark for the past 3 years. J. E. Williams, retired saw mill and oil field worker, died in a convalescent home in Norman last Thursday from pneumonia and a stroke. He was past 99-years-old.
He was born in Jacksonville, Ky. January 5, 1860, moved to White Rock, Arkansas, with his parents as a boy. He came to Jenks in 1920. Formerly an oil field worker, he lived in Seminole, Stroud, Tonkawa, Cleveland, Three Sands and Norman.
Survivors include two sons, Grover Williams, of Dunbar, Calif., and John Williams, Mulberry, Arkansas, four daughters, Mrs. Victoria Shearin, Mulberry, Mrs. Harlan Bolton, Jenks, Mrs. Frank Sumner, Norman and Mrs. V. M. Lovitt, Williams, Arizona, 26 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 62 great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild, three stepsons, C. G. Pointer, Cleveland, Jack Pointer, Salem, Ill., and A. C. Pointer, Vandalia, Ill., two step-daughters, Mrs. Lucille Alford, Oklahoma City, and several nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Alfred Williams of Jenks.

She took great pleasure in long walks and made new friends everywhere she went. Her kind and caring spirit was reflected in the way she was always ready to lend a helping hand to someone in need or set another plate at the table. Her children joked that she took in strays and treated them like family. June's sweet and kind spirit will be sorely missed by those whose lives she touched but heaven will be made a better place by her presence. Spencer Albert Williams, 9, died Thursday in a four-wheeler accident in Okmulgee County. He was the son of Albert E. Williams of Bixby and Tonette Spencer of Atlanta.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1709 N. Madison Ave., under the direction of Keith D. Bigelow of Okmulgee. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Monday at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
Williams was a member of Green Forest Baptist Church in Decatur, Ga. He was a fourth-grade honor student at Redan Elementary School in Atlanta. He was a Boy Scout and had an orange belt in karate. He was creative and involved in many activities. He enjoyed playing with his PlayStation and Game Boy and collecting Pokeman and Digimon cards and playing with his dogs, Tyson, Shadow and Braxton.
Other survivors include his stepmother, Debra Williams of Bixby; grandmother Martha Ruth Spencer of East St. Louis, Il.; grandparents Lloyd and Janis Williams of Tulsa and great-grandmother Louine Grimes of Fort Worth Texas.

Funeral services were conducted Friday in the Airview Assembly of God church in Jenks for Mrs. Dora Wilt, 76, who died Wednesday in a Tulsa hospital.
A native of Baxter county, Ark., she moved to Jenks in 1941 and was a member of the Airview Assembly of God church. She worked at the St. John's hospital as an aide before retiring.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Arizona Meridith of Fox, Ark.; three nieces, Mrs. Clarcy Weaver and Mrs. Besta Bacon, both of Jenks, and Mrs. Dora Huddler of Fox, Ark.; and a nephew, L. B. Hawkins of Tulsa.
Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Kennard Funeral Service of Broken Arrow.

WINSETT -- Dolores "June," was born July 31, 1938 in Tulsa as the first of six daughters to Tommie and Mozelle Kirk and peacefully passed away at her home in Bixby on Saturday, June 18, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Ray in August of 2000, her father, Tommie Cleo Kirk; 2 sisters, Carolyn Sue Caudle and Beverly Joe Donoghue; and an infant son. June is survived by her mother, Martha Mozelle Kelley; daughter Debbi Green; son Bruce Winsett, her nephews, Steve Caudle, Tom Caudle, and niece, Jeaneanne Caudle Morris. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean Cates, Ann Hobbs and Kay Oates; her sister-in-law, Irene Allen and Marie Ashlock; grandchildren, Joey Green, Jessica Green Rogers, Adam Shurtleff, 1 great-grandchild, Jackson Rogers. Services were held for Buddy Ray Witt, 57, at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at NewSpring Assembly of God Church, Jenks, Okla., officiated by Rev. Mark Merrill. Interment was at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Leonard and Marker Funeral Home.
Mr. Witt was born Nov. 27, 1943, in Stigler, Okla. He died Jan. 15, in Okmulgee County.
He was a resident of the Glenpool area for most of his life. He was a graduate of Beggs High School.
Mr. Witt served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed for two tours in Vietnam.
He married Beverly (Carlile) Witt on July 30, 1982, in Claremore, Okla.
He was an A&P aircraft mechanic and worked for several years at McDonnell-Douglas and Bizjet. He also held his own pilot's license.
Mr. Witt is remembered as a wonderful storyteller who was known for practical jokes. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, traveling and working on airplanes. He often played Santa Claus for many different organizations. He spent much time with his family members.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Charles Bibb, in 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two sons, Tracy Lee Witt of Verdigris, Okla. and Terry Ray Witt of McKinney, Tex.; his parents, Anna Shire of Glenpool and Leonard Bibb of Glenpool; two sisters, Patricia Smith of Edmond and Kathryn Calvert of Glenpool; one brother, Gary Cody of Killeen, Tex.; four grandchildren, Summer Dawn, Sydney Lee, Alexander Stone, and William Kinnick Witt; and two step-sons, Scott Renfro of Tulsa and Chad Renfro of Owasso.
Casket bearers were Pat Maloy, Tom Dawes, Bill Walsh, Alan Butler, Rick Billbe, Brian Nikles, Mark Hipkins, Gary Brown, Ray Lischinsky, Marty McCaslin and Danny Hylton.

Services for Alta Mae Wolf, 89, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Bixby Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel. Interment was in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
Wolf was born March 6, 1912 at Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Frank G. and Maude (Nichols) Hardester. She died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001 at the Gardens Nursing Home in Sapulpa.
Wolf and husband Orvel operated the Harvard Drive-In in Tulsa, then opened the Jenks Recreation Center and Wolf's T.P. Drive-In. They founded Wolf's Manufacturing Co. in Jenks in the mid-60s. They had resided in Jenks since 1948.
Wolf was a member of the Beaver Street Baptist Church in Jenks. She worked in the church's nursery for many years.
Wolf was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Orvel, in 1993, and a son, Donald Ray Wolf, in 1995.
She is survived by: two sons, Orvel W. Wolf of Mounds, and Ronald E. Wolf of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two daughters, Shirley J. Fuller of Jenks and Pauline M. Stout of Glenpool; two sisters, Opal Cooper of Haskell and Elsie Hardester of Enid; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Bob A. Reid officiated at the service, conducted by Jack Selby of Bixby Funeral Service.
Services for Linda Carol Wolf, 53, of Cleveland were 2 p.m. July 10 at the First Baptist Church, Cleveland with Dr. Larry Wilson and Rev. George Boston officiating.
Burial was in Woodland Cemetery, Cleveland, under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wolf died July 6, 2002.
Born Dec. 18, 1948 in Pawnee, to Donovan Albert and Lucille Beatrice (Tramel) Teter, Linda attended Jenks schools graduating in 1967. She was united in marriage to Ronald Edward Wolf at Sapulpa on July 29, 1966. After their marriage, they lived in Jenks, Tahlequah and Owasso from 1971 to 1979.
While married, Linda attended several different colleges graduating in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in education from Oklahoma State University. The couple moved to Cleveland in 1979 where she worked in the administrative area in both the Owasso and Cleveland schools.
After moving to Hominy, Linda began her teaching career. She taught in the Hominy system from 1991 until 1994 then taught for one semester in Jennings and Barnsdall before health problems forced her retirement in 2001.
She was member of the First Baptist Church and the Business Educators Association.
Survivors include her husband, Ron, of the home; two sons, Wade of Blackwell and Nick of Cleveland; three brothers, Bill Teter of Fort Gibson, Bud Teter of Cleveland and Amos Teter of Ft. Gibson; five sisters, Donna Edgerton of Cleveland, JoAnn Walls of Drumright, Shirley Bateman of Sand Springs, Judy Brown of Greenwood, Arkansas, and Debi Breedlove of Cleveland; and four grandchildren, Marissa, Danielle, Dean and Anna Wolf.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents.
Services for Frederic F. Wolfer, Jr. 65, were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 1, at Life Connection Church, Jenks. Wolfer passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, in Tulsa.
He was born in Portland, Oregon, on Oct. 6, 1938, the son of Frederic F. Wolfer, Sr. and Margaret Williams Wolfer. He graduated from high school in Portland, Oregon; the University of North Carolina and was a PHD candidate from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve.
At the time of his death, he was a professor at Oral Roberts University.
On October 3, 1981, he married Barbara Denluck in Alexandria, Virginia, and resided in Tulsa for four years. He was a member of Life Connection Church in Jenks.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Wolfer is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Tulsa; a son, David Nicholas Wolfer, Tulsa; a son, Frederic F. Wolfer III and his wife, Josephine, Fairfax, Virginia; a daughter, Erika Nicholson and husband, John, Christiansburg, Virginia and five grandchildren.
Burial took place immediately following the service at Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens, Tulsa.

WOLFF, Rose Marie, 62, loving wife, mother and "Grammy," passed away Saturday, September 1, 2001. Rose was born October 7, 1938 to Ples and Louisa Trickey at Big Cabin, OK. She graduated from Big Cabin High School in 1956 and N.S.U. in 1960. She was an Elementary School Teacher at Liberty Mounds, Bixby and Jenks, retiring in 1993. Rose married Walter Richard Wolff, Jr. on April 1, 1961. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, antiquing and crafts. She loved sharing these activities with her only grandchild, Ashley. She is survived by: husband, Walter; 2 sons; Drew (Karen), Blake (Vicki) and Ashley; 3 sisters, Lora, Dixie and Lou. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to M.S. Society, Arthritis Foundation or March of Dimes.
Services for Rose Marie Wolff, 62, of Jenks were 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5 at the First United Methodist Church, Jenks, with Rev. Keith Cressman and Rev. Udell Wolff officiating.
Burial was in Floral Haven Cemetery under the direction of Jack Selby, Bixby Funeral Service.
Pallbearers included nephews Darin Wolff, Doug Wolff, Dale Wolff, Don Lynch, Mickey Mitchell and Jerry Dale Mathis. Honorary bearers were Jimmy Cheek, Kevin Mitchell, Steve Mitchell, Larry Lawson, Bill Fisher and Howard Dunn.
Mrs. Wolff died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001 at her home.
Born October 7, 1938 to Plas and Louisa Epperson Trickey, Big Cabin, Oklahoma, she attended and graduated from high school in Big Cabin in 1956 before attending Northeastern State University where she graduated with a double major in home economics and elementary education in 1960.
She and Walter Richard Wolff, Jr. married on April 1, 1961 at Big Cabin. Rose taught at Liberty Mounds, Bixby and Jenks Elementary Schools, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, antiquing, crafts and cooking and sharing her activities with her only grandchild, Ashley.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jenks, the National Education Association and the Oklahoma Education Association.
Survivors include her husband of the home, two sons, Walter Andrew "Drew" Wolff and Blake Alan Wolff, both of Broken Arrow; the one grandchild and three sisters, Lora Mathis of Norman, Dixie Mitchell of Tulsa and Kay "Lou" Cheek of Lawton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ann Martin.

WOOD -- Mary M., 84, of Glenpool, went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2004. Born April 27, 1920, in Vinita, OK to Victoria and Luther Glenn, Mary was the eighth of ten children. She married Glen Wood on September 1, 1936 in Vinita. They eventually made their home in Glenpool, OK, where she owned and operated the first beauty salon until moving to Sperry in 1959. In later life she sang and played the piano with the Hyliters band. She also sang with the gospel quartet, LuAnn and the Glenns. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers and three sisters, Mary is survived by: 1 daughter, Janie Wood of the home; son, Darrell Wood and wife, Sandra of Tulsa; granddaughter, Stacy Beck and husband, Stoney of Broken Arrow; grandson, Scott Williams and wife, Stevi of Edmond; granddaughter, Stephanie Dowty and husband, Andrew of Tulsa; and 4 great-grandchildren. Wright died Sept. 26, 2002 in Tulsa.
Born July 31, 1918 in Hanna, Okla. to Floyd and Florence (Phillips) Shropshire, she worked as a shousekeeper and caregiver to children of many area families for several years. She was a member of the Shellenbarger Free Will Baptist Church for over 45 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Owen Wright on Sept. 3, 1985, an infant daughter, one brother, L.L. Shropshire and two sisters, Lela May Wheat and Margaret Bogle. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth and his wife, Betty Wright of Alabama and Harold "Bud" and his wife, Barbara Wright of Bixby, nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Brian Gibson, Tim McCrary, Ronnie Gibson, Jerry Green, Russell Smith and Jerry Morgan. Honorary bearers were Tommy Gibson, Sr. and Gene Green.

Frank Charles Wyer
Graveside service for Frank Charles Wyer, 79, was 10 a.m. Monday, March 14 at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa. Rev. Tom Ballard officiated. Interment followed under the direction of Jack Selby, Bixby Funeral Service.
Mr. Wyer was born Jan. 28, 1926 at Blackwell, Okla., the son of Frank Lee Wyer and Francis Keith Wyer. He died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Grace Living Center in Jenks.
Frank attended Burton High School in Burton, Kansas. He graduated with the class of 1944. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a first class seaman. He was honorably discharged in 1946.
Frank and Helen Anna Wyer were united in marriage at Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1948. She preceded him in death in March of 2001.
Frank was a self employed salesman for over 50 years, retiring in 2001. He had resided in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas and Oklahoma.
Frank was also preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by three sons, Steven Wyer of Brentwood, TN., Paul Wyer of Tulsa and Doug Wyer of Glenpool; one daughter, Lee Tilghman of Tulsa; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
