Services for Raymond "The Great R.O." Olen (Ingram) will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at NewSpring Assembly of God Church.
Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Moore's Southlawn.
Mr. Olen was born Nov. 13, 1922 in Okmulgee to Luther and Ethel Smothers. He died Saturday, June 18, 2005, in Tulsa.
A veteran of the United States Army, he served as a gunnery sergeant in the 324th Infantry of the 44th Division in WWII. He was active in the European Theater and received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
A retired carpenter, he was a member of NewSpring Assembly of God Church. He was the former owner of Ingram's Restaurant in Jenks.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Jane Ingram of Jenks; four daughters, Jaye Gawf of Jenks, Carlene Watkins and husband Brett of Bixby, Ann Lou Roe and husband Calvin of Baltimore, Md., and Brenda Owen and husband Tom of Yellville, Ark.; six sons, Norman Ingram and wife Toma of Beggs, Kendall Ingram and wife Alicia of Wagoner, Olen Gene Ingram and wife Rita of Yellville, Ark., Connis Ingram and wife Connie of Mountain Home, Ark., Dudley Bromley and wife Lily of Indiana, and Bobby Bromley and wife Paulette of Washington; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
The family requests contributions be made to the Disabled Veterans of America or NewSpring Assembly of God.
