  • Jonathan married Sarah Leavitt on January 15, 1747 as her second husband.2
  • Jonathan died on March 15, 1772 at age 62. His death occurred in the following manner. He had been on a visit to his only daughter, at North Hampton. On his return he attempted to cross a piece of low land, upon snow shoes. By some accident he fell, and being unable to rise or disengage himself from the shoes he " perished in the snow."2
