Barbara Lambson1

b. April 8, 1927, d. February 22, 2015
  • Barbara Lambson was born on April 8, 1927 in Meriden, Connecticut, daughter of Dewitt C. and Grace G. Lambson. She graduated from Meriden High School in 1944, and attended the University of Connecticut and Pratt Institute, New York, N.Y. graduating with a degree in industrial design. Prior to her marriage she worked as an artist.2
  • Barbara married Ernest Harrington Moesel, son of Ernest Charles Moesel and Mary Wendel Harrington, on November 20, 1948. After living briefly in New York and Rhode Island they made their home in South Meriden, where they raised their four children.2
  • Barbara was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was also involved in her church, South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church, Girl Scouts of America where she was an assistant troop leader, and many animal welfare organizations. She enjoyed photography, camping, gardening and caring for her beloved pets. In 1981, she and Ernest relocated to Port Orange, Fla. where they enjoyed the warm weather and beaches. They also spent much of their time traveling in their RV around the country, always with their cats along for the ride. After Ernest's passing in 2009, Barbara moved to Park City, Utah. There, she lived a quieter life enjoying time with her grandchildren, Danny and Audrey. She also kept up with World news and knitting and continued to enjoy the company of her cats. She lived a life of purpose and believed in speaking for those who cannot speak.2
