Another Good Woman Gone.
Miss Elizabeth Craine was born October 7, 1827, on the Isle of Man, where she grew up to young womanhood, and at the age of 18 years was united in marriage to John Kneen, October 8, 1858. Ten years after their marriage they left their native land and came to America. To them were born ten children, of which five are still iving, three sons and two daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Kneen, for a number of years prior to A. D., 1901, were highly respected citizens of Hartley, surrounded by friends and neighbors who held them in highest esteeem. In 1897, Mr. Kneen and wife united with the Methodist church of Hartley and of which they were members in good standing at the time of their death. Mrs. Kneen was a faithful Christain woman and present at all the services of the church of which she was a member unless unavoidably detained from being present. She died as she lived-trusting in her savior and looking forward to that meeting beyoind the dark and rolling river of death where parting shall be no more.
