Immigration circa 1632  He and Sarah ? immigrated circa 1632 to Mount Wollaston (probably). James and Mary Ensign were part of the company of Rev. Thomas Hooker. It is not know if they came to New England with that group in 1632 or joined them soon afterward. James Ensign was made a freeman at Cambridge on March 4, 1634.2 
Fact 1 1635/36  In 1635/36, James and Mary Ensign migrated with the Thomas Hooker group to Hartford, where James was one of the founders..2
