Note   Stoughton states that James Franklin's children were born in Rehoboth, but Wikberg says they were born in Swansea. I do not have a source of the Swansea vital records, but the Rehoboth vital records are on line at NEHGS, and these children are not among them. Because I have the additional corroboration of Margaret Jenks, who found Philip Franklin's birth in Swansea Vital records, I think Mr. Stoughton just wrote down the wrong town, and the children of James Jr. were really born in Swansea.2,3
