Marriage before 1727  Joseph Albrecht married an unknown first wife (?) before 1727.1
Marriage   Joseph Albrecht married Maria Katherine ?.1
Death July 1744  Joseph Albrecht died in July 1744 at Macungie Township, Northampton County (then Bucks), PA.2
Immigration 18 September 1727  He and an unknown first wife (?) immigrated on 18 September 1727 to Philadelphia, PA. The list of "ye Palatine Passengers" on the ship William and Sarah, arriving from Rotterdam, included Joseph Aelbragt with a party of 3½. Since children were counted as ½ fare, this probably means himself, a wife, and 3 children.3
Fact 1 16 February 1761  On 16 February 1761, at Northampton County, PA,, There is a very long an complicated deed for the sale of Joseph Albrect's property. I was unable to read it all, but the first page was filmed very clearly and began as follows: "between Katherine Albrecht of Macungay Twp, Northampton Co, widow and relict of Joseph Albrecht deceased and Joseph Albrecht of the same place and Susanna his wife, John Albrecht of the same place and Margaret his wife, Jacob Schner of Whitehall Twp and Barbara his wife and Peter Trexler of Macungay Twp and Katherine his wife of the one part and Peter ?Bultz of Berks Co of the second part. Whereas Joseph Albrecht was deceased intestate having left issue by his said widow Katherine three children with the said Joseph Albrecht, Joseph Albrecht the younger (party hereto) John Albrect and Katherine the wife of the said Peter Trexler and also by a former marriage three children to wit the said Barbara who intermarried with the said Jacob Schner, Margaret who intermarried with a certain Samuel Bert [or Best] of the city of Philadelphia and Mary who intermarried with a certain Richard ." Later in the document it states that Mary and Margaret and their husbands had released their right to the estate to Katherine in 1741 and 1743.

Note   The will names an older daughter Rosina. The deed names an older daughter Mary. It was very common for the Germans at that time to name a daughter Maria follwed by another name. So I am assuming that her name was Maria Rosina in German.
