Fact 1 3 September 1735  The first known transcation which has survived related to Henry Gambill is a deed for his purchase of 175 acres on Little Rocky Creek in Hanover County. He also witnessed the will of Martin Davenport, his father-in-law, in 1735..4 
Fact 1 1753  He appears in the records of Culpeper County, VA beginning in 1753. His last legal record was a deed from him and his wife in 1762..4

While digging through boxes in the attic I found an old box of
correspondence from 1979. I wrote to a number of Stitt's asking for
family history and received some replies. These are not in my Stitt
line but might help someone else. Since these people were kind enough
to share their information with me and 20 years have gone by, I don't
think these individuals would mind my passing this information on to the
Stitt List.

Grayson County, VA married to Mary F. Richardson in 1818. His will was

William Burbridge and James STITT were commissioned by Governor Hendricks
Sept. 1, 1823 as the first two associate judges in newly formed Montgomery
County to sit with, or in lieu of the presiding judge of the First Judicial
Circuit. The commissions were for seven years.

Note   Daniel lived near the Blevinses in the Helton area and several Blevins land entries refer to Daniel Strunk's line or Strunk's Branch

However, Ron quotes other land entries which mention other Strunks:

Wells Blevins - Ashe County Deed, July 14,1800 - 165 acres on Helton's Creek, line between John Strunk and William Huff for 65 pounds, from Stephen Creech.

Capt James Blevins in 1816, at the age of 20 purchased two parcels of land from Levi Blevins; 100 acres on Silas Creek which was attested by Joseph Blevins Jr and William Strunk; and 75 acres of Peter Little's original survey, which was attested by Joseph Blevins and Welse Blevins.
