Mrs. Mary Moody Hutton, 72, of 4233 N. Paulina St, a niece of Dwight L. Moody, evangelist and founder of the Moody Bible institute, died yesterday in Cook county hospital of injuries she suffered April 23 when she was struck by a taxicab at Irving Park rd and Ashland Av. Mrs. Hutton, wife of Harry R. Hutton, retired insurance broker, came to Chicago about half a century ago from her birthplace in East Northfield, Mass. She also is survived by a son, the Rev. George W. Hutton, Detroit, and two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Greenley, Rock Island, Ill, and Mrs. Olive Nichol, Indiana, Pa. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. , Thursday in the chapel at 5200 N. Western Av.. |
