Mrs. Ellen E. Williams

Mrs. Ellen E. Williams, 74, died Friday, January 12, 1934, at her home in Eden township, Payne county, five miles north and two miles west of Stillwater, Ok.
Funeral services will be held at Strode Funeral home with the Rev. Charles King officiating. Burial will be in Laneer cemetery. Time and date of services will be announced later.
Ellen E. Swofford was born in Tennessee October 12, 1859. She was united in marriage to John E. Williams in Tennessee, September 7, 1873. The Williams family came to Oklahoma in 1899, settling on a farm close to the present home. they have lived in this neighborhood since.
The husband, nine children, thiry-seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren survive the decedent. The children are L.E., Albert and Beecher, Stillwater; Mrs. Emma Lile, near Stillwater; Robert, at home; Bert, Escondido, Calif.; Joe, Welch, Colo.; Mrs. Ollie Gaasch, Floyd, N.M.; John, Oklahoma City. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Christian church.
