Registered on the third of August, 1853 at 12:00 noon,
on the oath of Roderick McKenzie

Know all men by these presents that I, Daniel Dickson of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, barrister-at-law, for and in consideration of the sum of eighty pounds of lawful money of Nova Scotia and all interest due thereon to me paid by Christopher Langill [John's son] of River John in the County aforesaid, yeoman, have granted, bargained, sold, remise, released and conveyed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, remise, release and defend to the said Christopher Langill, his heirs and assigns, all and singular the lands and premises with all the appurtenances mentioned and described in the indenture of mortgage hereto annexed, the same being registered in the Office of Registrar of Deeds for the County of Pictou in Liber 33, folio 204.

To have and to hold the same to the said Christopher Langill, his heirs and assigns forever.

Witness my hand and seal at Pictou, the first day of July A. D., 1853
